Parent Portal

Rediker, our student information system, is used to connect registered families with the Stella Maris Academy community. The portal provides access to day-to-day information, events, volunteer activities, and student reports such as attendance, grades and connection with your students' teachers. This is Stella Maris Academy's internal communication system from teacher-to-home and campus-to-home.

Volunteering

Volunteering is an important part of what it means to belong to the Stella Maris community. Each family is expected to contribute at least 20 hours of volunteer time.  As you complete each volunteer session, please be sure to record the activity and time on the index card assigned to your family. These can be found in the "recipe box" located in your school office.

Opportunities

+ Lunch & Recess Duty

There are opportunities to see your child(ren) for lunch and/or on the playgrounds by volunteering for lunch and recess duty.

+ Room Parents & Classroom Help

Each class also has room parents to organize parent efforts for that class. Additional possibilities might include assisting teachers in and out of the classroom, working in our school libraries, or assembling materials for classroom, office, or event use.

+ Family Association Boards & Event Coordination

Volunteers also staff our Family Association boards. We also have event and activity coordinators as well as committee members and volunteers who help to carry out the tasks that need to be accomplished to bring about meaningful and well-orchestrated programming.

+ Groundskeeping

Volunteers are needed to help beautify the grounds of our campuses. There are opportunities for every skill set and schedule.

Prices

Lunch this year costs $3.50 which includes one milk and entree; additional milks are $0.50 each. For students bringing their own lunch, milk costs $0.50.

Lunch Accounts

Stella Maris Academy uses an automated system called PaySchools Central whereby families pre-deposit funds in a student cafeteria account to pay for their children’s milk and meals.

Using the PaySchools Central automated system parents have access to their child's purchases and current account balance.  Payments can be setup to auto replenish the account when it hits a certain threshold or one-time payments can be made.  This system also allows for notifications to be setup, including monthly reports of all account activity.
