Coach Duties and Responsibilities
SMA track and field coach will be expected to organize practices 3-5 days per week and coach at competitions scheduled by the activities director. The number of competitions can be customized to the coaches availability.
Coaches will be responsible for representing and working to instill the SMA mission statement values in all team members.

Trap Coach - grades 7-9

Girls Nordic Skiing coach - grades 5-9
Mid November - Mid February 2022/23 (hiring immediately)
Practices will be held on high school grounds and/or nearby trails
Coach Duties and Responsibilities
SMA skiing coach will be expected to organize practices 3-5 days per week and coach at competitions scheduled by the activities director. The number of competitions can be customized to the coaches availability.
Coaches will be responsible for representing and working to instill the SMA mission statement values in all team members. 2022/23 coach will have the opportunity to interview for the head nordic ski coach position the following season should there be enough demand for the team.

Girls softball coach - grades 5-9
Mid March - April 2022/23
High School Softball field will be used for practice

SMA softball coach will be expected to organize practices 3-5 days per week and coach at games scheduled by the activities director. The number of games can be customized to the coaches availability.
Coaches will be responsible for representing and working to instill the SMA mission statement values in all team members. 2023 coach will have the opportunity to interview for the head softball coach position the following season should there be enough demand for the team.
